Frances
Morris was born and grew up in the island town of Enniskillen. She has
been painting since her early childhood and studied at the Belfast College
of Art 1961-1965.

Throughout her artistic career she has progressed from teaching art and craft, making her unique fantasy porcelain sculptures, painting exotic flowers studies, to her real love-painting Irish landscape.
"Fermanagh is a mysterious and spiritual place, with the dreaming spires of Enniskillen presiding over silent waters which reflect magical forests and smooth meadows. I believe the paintings capture both the strong composition with simplicity, colours subtle in their strength, seeming contradictions at every turn. Each painting is unique, the visual waiting to touch all the senses of the viewer."
Her widely acclaimed work has
been exhibited in Manchester, London, Belfast, Dublin, New York and can
be found in many public and private collections.
